Who We Are?
Our Mission
Athletic Connections’ mission is to create a bridge between skillful, motivated European athletes, and American college recruiting staffs.
We want to provide services allowing athletes to chase their dream in the United States while getting an education and improving their athletic skills.
We also want to encourage college coaches to recruit overseas and to access a portfolio of international student-athletes ready to integrate their programs and their campus.
From NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA colleges, Men’s and Women’s student-athletes.
We are currently limiting our efforts to Basketball, and to athletes that have already graduated High School.
Experience
There isn’t better lesson than life.
Athletic Connections’ founder took her game further and learned along the way.
The trials and errors she went through herself are the main reason why we can guide athletes through their own journey.
Manon Cherubini
Founder
Manon is from Saint-Etienne, France. She was playing in the french 2nd League before she took her game further in 2011.
As an athlete, she played 2 years in NJCAA and got recognized as an All American. She then decided to pursue the last 2 years of her collegiate career in the NCAA. Unfortunately the league put a stop to her career in when she got ruled ineligible.
As a student, Manon graduated with:
- an Associate of Science from Georgia Highlands College (Georgia, 2014)
- a Bachelor of Business Administration from Angelo State University (Texas, 2016)
- a Master of Accounting from Florida Atlantic University (Florida, 2020)
As a person, she got to learn a lot and grow through the ups and downs of her collegiate years. That is how she gained an undeniable experience, more specifically regarding the rules and regulations directed to foreign student-athlete.
Founding Athletic Connections is her way to share this knowledge and help student-athletes start their own journey.
